Manjeet Singh

(Managing Director)

A first-generation Techpreneur, Manjeet Singh has more than 16 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, specializing in Electrical and Solar products. As the Managing Director of Himalayan Solar, he leads the company’s overall operations with a hands-on approach across Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Finance. He previously held the position of Vice President at OMEN Industries, one of the leading manufacturers of Electrical, Home & Kitchen Appliances who pioneered in providing world-class Gas Water Heaters in the domestic market, and also led the way in manufacturing an illustrious product range dotted with all types of domestic fans, Gas Water Heaters, Electric Water Heaters, Cooler Kit, Small Pumps along with a host of kitchen and heating appliances. In his previous company, he played a key role in establishing manufacturing Units across Bawana (Delhi), Parwanoo (H.P) and later in Kundli (Haryana) and Guwahati (Assam), complemented with latest technology, automation and sophisticated R&D facilities. With a strong foundation in technology-led manufacturing, operational efficiency, and strategic expansion, Manjeet continues to drive Himalayan Solar toward innovation, scalability, and sustainable growth.

Mehtab Singh

(Whole Time Director)

With a technical & administration background in Indian Naval Forces, Mehtab Singh adds an immense value to the management of Himalayan Solar as a Whole Time Director and currently responsible for managing the Operations and Sales Department including Manufacturing process & EPC implementation of Solar Projects across different geographies of India and Customer Service Department.

He previously served as Electrical Officer in Indian Naval Forces for 14 years with responsibilities to operate and maintain the Marine Electrical equipment onboard ships/submarines/aircrafts. Prior to that he served as an Electro-Technical Officer on the merchant/naval ships for 10 years with responsibilities to monitor all electronic equipment and machines to maintain as well as enhance the efficiency of the vessel, ensuring the operational safety of the ship.

Mr. Singh's extensive experience in marine engineering, electrical systems, and operations management, coupled with his leadership in high-stakes technical environments, adds substantial value to the strategic and operational depth of our Company.

Himanshu Dalal

(Executive Director)

As a young and dynamic professional, Mr. Himanshu Dalal adds a fresh perspective to the Strategic Management Department of Himalayan Solar contributing to long-term planning and organizational development.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and has completed a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management from FORE School of Management, New Delhi. Prior to joining our Company, he worked as a Business Operations Manager at Mannat Leisure Private Limited, a reputed restaurant franchise, where he was responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple branches over a span of three years.

Mr. Dalal’s exposure to multi-location business operations, combined with his academic background in finance, enables him to contribute effectively to the Company’s strategic initiatives and governance.

Anita Kumari

(Non- Executive Director)

Anita Kumari serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of our company. She holds a Master of Arts degree and has been associated with Himalayan Solar since 2024. While she is not involved in the Company’s day-to-day operations, she plays a significant role in contributing to the Company’s strategic direction and provides valuable inputs on key policy and business decisions. Her independent perspective and commitment to governance add depth to the Board’s deliberations and oversight functions.

Dr. O.S. Sastry

(Independent Director)

He retired as a Director General (Scientist “G”) of National Institute of Solar Energy, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) Department after joining as a Senior Scientific Officer of MNRE Solar Photovoltaic Division. He also established National Photovoltaic Test Facility (PVTF) in NISE which was the first PV laboratory to obtain NABL accreditation for testing PV modules in the country. As senior Scientist, he was mainly responsible for establishing testing, certification and standardization activities in the field of SP0056 components, systems and applications in the country which included comprehensive facilities for lighting systems, test rig for testing PV water pumping systems and comprehensive testing facilities for qualification & safety testing of PV Modules. He played a key role in setting up Other Test Centers [ETDC (Bangalore), CPRI (Bangalore) and ERTL (Kolkata)] in the country, thus a main architect in developing a comprehensive lab policy document and the draft regulation for certification, benchmarking for long term operational reliability of PV Systems under Government of India. He also worked as a Senior Consultant in International Solar Alliance heading the Main Technical Group responsible for planning & development of National Solar Energy Roadmaps for 25 ISA countries. He also served as a Scientist in Ministry of Defence, Vishakhapatnam, Government of India (GOI).

He played a pivotal role in establishing joint test beds with NREL, USA; AIST, Japan, CdTe test bed with First Solar, a-Si & Micromarph module bed with TEL corporations for R&D of outdoor test facility for the crystalline silicon PV modules. Also worked as a project leader and Co- project leader in the international consortium projects with Indo-UK and Indo-US collaborations named as STAPP and SERIIUS.

He has authored/ Co-authored more than 160 scientific Articles, in the field of solar photovoltaic applications and reliability, in International Journals and conferences and co-authored 6 scientific books. As per the citation of the Scientific web site Research Gate, he is rated as one of the very few top scientists in solar energy in the world.

He has done M.Sc (with a specialization in “Solid-state Physics”) from Nagarjuna University, Guntur, A.P. and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi in the field of Solar Photovoltaics.

Dr. R.C. Hooda

(Independent Director)

He joined Ministry of Communications, Govt of India as an Indian Telecom Service (ITS) officer from 1980 batch & retired as Chief General Manager Telecom (CGMT) (Equivalent to Additional Secretary to Govt of India). He is a highly qualified & experienced Telecom professional having more than 36 years’ experience in all aspects of Telecom including Operation, Maintenance & Expansion of Telecom Network relating to Landline, Mobile, National Internet Backbone (NIB), Leased Line, Broad Band, Optical Fiber, MPLS, Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), Transmission systems etc. He was deputed to Asia Pacific Telecom (APT) sponsored training course on Telecom Network Planning at NTT, Tokyo (Japan) & Training in planning & Effective utilization & deployment of national Internet backbone at M/s S.G.I. Singapore, M/s Cisco system & M/s Sun Netscape Alliance at SAN Jose (USA). He worked as Consultant in Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), Cyber & Information Security (CIS) Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India for more than four & a half years. He was Involved in Launching of National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) & National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930.

He possess B.Tech (Hons) (Electronics & Communication Engineering) from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra (Now NIT) and MBA (Marketing & Finance) degrees. He has been awarded Ph.D. (Business Management) from Chandigarh University, Mohali (Punjab).

Sakshi Sharma

(Chief Financial Officer)

A certified Professional in Executive Program in Business Finance from IIM Ahmedabad, Sakshi Sharma, after completing her Master’s Degree in Commerce, joined Himalayan Solar in August 2016. She possesses expertise in fund optimization, budgetary control, and financial planning. She is known for her process-oriented approach, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail, which have significantly contributed to the implementation and monitoring of multiple concurrent projects within the Company. She has also been instrumental in developing risk mitigation frameworks and project tracking tools, ensuring better visibility, control, and accountability.

She is responsible for developing & implementing financial strategies, identifying & mitigating Financial Risks and Operational Risks, planning Supply Chain flow of all components of multiple projects for efficient execution of the Projects and driving efficiency in resource allocation and cost management. Her contributions have been pivotal in aligning the Company’s financial operations with its strategic growth objectives.

Navkiran Kaur

(Company Secretary)

Navkiran Kaur, aged 33 years is the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer for our Company. She holds a Master in Business Administration (Finance) degree from Lovely Professional University. She is a member of Institute of Company Secretary of India. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with M/s. Parnami & Associates for one Year i.e March 01, 2023 to February 28, 2024 and RACONTEUR GLOBAL RESOURCES LIMITED for nine months i.e Feb 29, 2024 to November 05, 2024. She was associated with our company in November 2024 and is responsible for handling compliance and secretarial work of the company. She has more than two years of professional experience in compliance and secretarial works.
